Junretsu Puzzle - Color Jigsaw

Junretsu consists of a frame of colored square tiles in random order. Each tile is colored with five colors, a main color and 4 colors to encode main colors of neighbors. Object of the puzzle is to place the tiles in order to match colors by drag&drop and/or rotation.

Junretsu is inspired from classical puzzles and combines them with the power of digital puzzles. Result is a new board game:

Drag and drop game pieces as in a slider puzzle,

Arrange game pieces as in a jigsaw puzzle,

Check neighboring pieces as in a sudoku puzzle,

Search for colors as in a search puzzle.

GAME FEATURES

There are 4 different levels of difficulty: easy, medium, difficult and very difficult. Sometimes a medium Junretsu can be more difficult than a difficult Junretsu.

There are three different board sizes, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5.

HOW TO PLAY?

Junretsu is a color jigsaw.

-- Each piece (a large square) contains four inner squares one in the middle of each edge. ---Main color is the color of the large square.
--Each inner square tells you the main color of the square that should be attached to the corresponding edge.
--For example, if the main color is red, and if its left inner square is green, that means you need to put a piece with main color green and inner right color red.
--Junretsu is solved when all the inner colors are matched with the main colors of the corresponding neighbor.
--You may move the pieces around by dragging them.
--In a "difficult" or "very difficult" game mod, you may also rotate the inner colors to match.
