＜収録曲＞---
「マイ・ボニー」「ピクニック」「スカボロフェア」…いずれもイギリスの伝統曲です。
「マイ・ボニー」は作者が未詳のようです。
1870年に楽譜店で発表されると、合唱団の間で大ヒットした、という記録があります。
また、無名時代のビートルズがトニー・シェリダンがロックアレンジで録音した際に、バックで演奏していたという話しもあります。
「ピクニック」は萩原英一さん作詞の童謡として日本では知られています。
「スカボロフェア」、こちらは誰もが一度は聞いたことのある楽曲ではないでしょうか。
その歴史は１６～１７世紀にさかのぼり、吟遊詩人が歌い伝えたものと言われています。
現在もっとも有名な編曲は１９世紀末のもののようです。
