Aplikasi Kitab Makrifat rosul ini sangat penting untuk dipelajari karena Iman kepada para Rosul adalah salah satu rukun iman. Seseorang tidak dianggap muslim dan mukmin kecuali ia beriman bahwa Alloh mengutus para Rosul yang menginterprestasikan hakikat yang sebenarnya dari agama islam yaitu Tauhidullah. Juga tidak dianggap beriman atau muslim kecuali kepada seluruh Rosul dan tidak membedakan antara satu dengan yang lainnya.
