Audioslave adalah kelompok musik alternative rock AS yang terdiri dari mantan musisi Rage Against the Machine; Tom Morello (gitar), Tim Commerford (bass), dan Brad Wilk (drums), dan mantan penyanyi Soundgarden, Chris Cornell. Mereka dibentuk di Los Angeles, California pada 2001, setelah bubarnya RATM. Audioslave adalah band AS pertama yang mengadakan konser di Kuba secara gratis untuk sekitar 50.000 penonton pada 6 Mei 2005.

Setelah menerbitkan tiga album, menerima tiga nominasi Grammy, dan menjual 8 juta keping rekaman di dunia, Chris Cornell menyatakan keluar dari band tersebut. Hal ini dilakukan sekitar sebulan setelah Morello, Commerford, dan Wilk menyatakan diri bergabung kembali dengan penyanyi Zack de la Rocha untuk membentuk kembali RATM. Selain itu baik Morello maupun Cornell menerbitkan album solo pada 2007, sehingga Audioslave saat ini praktis bubar.

Audioslave is a US alternative rock band consisting of musicians former Rage Against the Machine; Tom Morello (guitar), Tim Commerford (bass) and Brad Wilk (drums), and former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell. They were formed in Los Angeles, California in 2001, after the dissolution of Rage. Audioslave was the first US band to hold a concert in Cuba free of charge to around 50,000 spectators on May 6, 2005.

This was done about a month after Morello, Commerford and Wilk declared themselves recombine with singer Zack de la Rocha to reshape Rage. Additionally both Morello and Cornell published a solo album in 2007, so that Audioslave is now practically disbanded.
