Reksodiprojo dan Sutarman dari Klub Romeo, di bawah nama Vorstenlandsche Voetbal Bond (VVB). Pada tahun 1928, di bawah kepemimpinan Soemokartiko, Vorstenlandsche Voetbal Bond resmi berganti nama menjadi Persatuan Sepak bola Indonesia Solo, disingkat Persis.

Solo Indonesia Football Association (abbreviated Persis Solo) is one of the football clubs in Indonesia. Establishment held 8 November 1923 in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia by Sastrosaksono (figures from Mars Club and R. Ng. Reksodiprojo and Sutarman of Club Romeo, under the name Vorstenlandsche Voetbal Bond (VVB). In 1928, under the leadership of Soemokartiko, Voetbal Bond Vorstenlandsche officially renamed the football Association of Indonesia Solo, abbreviated Exactly.
