Reza Zakarya Mahdami or better known as Reza (born in Surabaya, May 12, 1989, age 28 years) is an Indonesian dangdut singer. Reza is widely known after following the talent search D Academy (second
season). Reza has a very thick vowel and a very distinctive Arabic croak.
eza spent most of his childhood and youth in Surabaya, Pekalongan also Sidoarjo, East Java. This makes Reza a bit more master Java language. A few moments later the Reza family moved to Bandung and settled in the area of Antapani. Graduated from a college in Bandung, Reza decided to work in Riyadh as Accounting Manager at a laundry company. After the incident Reza received an offer to work as a Manager Area in a Home Industry company belonging to his uncle. Reza actively participated in the Singing Festival and several times to upload the cover song on Youtube. Until the end of 2014 Reza follow the event D Academy (second season).
During the D Academy (second season) Reza included academia who became a tough competitor for other academia. Reza consistently perform well even answer the challenges of the jury to bring the type of dangdut music such as dangdut Melayu, dangdut India, Arab even dangdut semi Rock. The trip of Reza at D Academy 2 ended in the 4th round because among 3 academia (Danang, Evi, and Irwan), Reza got the lowest SMS poll. In total there are 30 songs brought Reza during the event D Academy 2, one of which is You Laksana Bulan which became the first single Reza on the compilation album D Academy 2.
