Lake Forrest Elementary

Lake Forest Elementary is a proud member of the Hallandale Innovation Zone, participating in the Innovative Schools Program for S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). We engage students with creative hands-on activities that enhance their learning and enable them to apply what they learn in a real world setting. Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of instructional settings that take the learning outside the traditional four walls of the classroom. Lake Forest students learn in computer and science labs, outdoor farming and gardening areas as well as localized environmental habitats. They learn about environmental stewardship and ways to use the ever-increasing technology to better their world.We strongly believe that investing in today's young students will bring about a positive change for the future!
