بعد 23 سنة قضاها في فرنسا، سيقرر كمال بوحامدي، ترك حياة الغربة بأوروبا والعودة للأصل، للقرية المغربية التي رأى بها النور، وقضى بها طفولته.

فور عودته، سيحاول كمال إعادة فتح نزل صغير ورثه عن والدته، والاستقرار في هذا المكان الهادئ، إلا أن أهل القرية، سيفاجؤون بعودة كمال رفقة زوجته نفيسة وابنته كاميليا.
