Mapper8 Plus APPLICATION description
A map app acts as a GPS receiver, 2D navigation system and stargazing software
This app has a free version called 'Mapper8'. Pls try the free version first. If you like the free version, it is glad that you can consider this Plus version.
The Plus version covered the following features :
1. The map of this app is operated on three modes : standard, center and rotate. When both center and rotate modes are activated, the map would turn into a 2D navigation system.
2. Target locations or way-points can be set and managed easily.
3. Support plotting / tracking / recording of the user's location.
4. A distance meter is included that can keep check of point-to-point distance and time in real time. The meter acts like a stopwatch for both time and distance using GPS location data
5. Data output as KML formatted file of track points.
6. Include a small pedometer.
7. Include a ruler in units of mm or inch.
8. Turn your device's display into a light source that can change color and intensity.
9. Way-points that created by other people can be imported to the app through their KML file.
10. Included a round-shaped level meter.
11. Estimated values for sunrise and sunset time based on the GPS location data. The accuracy of the calculation is around +/- 10 minutes with latitude between +/- 60 degree.
12. Calculate the altitude and azimuth of constellations / stars / planets / messier objects based on the GPS location data and time.
