Marco Antonio Muñiz Rivera (Nueva York, 16 de septiembre de 1967) mejor conocido por su nombre artístico Marc Anthony, es un cantante estadounidense de origen puertorriqueño, cuyos temas van desde la salsa, pasando por el bolero, la balada y el pop. Empezó su carrera discográfica en el género hip hop con el dúo Little Louie & Marc Anthony llegando al nº 1 de las listas estadounidenses en 1991. Ralph Mercado lo fichó para su sello RMM en esa fecha y lo lanzó cantando salsa, consiguiendo un gran éxito que duró años, desde su primer single con la canción "Hasta que te conocí" de Juan Gabriel que fue nº1 en ventas. Más tarde triunfó también en España de la mano de Jorge E. Gómez con la compañía Bat Discos, siendo de los primeros artistas latinos de salsa en alcanzar discos de oro en ese país. Dio el salto internacional gracias a Paul Simon, al que considera su maestro y mentor, que lo eligió entre miles de candidatos para ser el protagonista de su obra The Capeman

Almohada Marco Antonio Muñiz Rivera (New York, September 16, 1967) better known by his stage name Marc Anthony, is an American singer of Puerto Rican origin, whose subjects range from salsa, to the bolero, ballads and pop. He began his recording career in the genre hip hop duo Little Louie & Marc Anthony arriving at # 1 of the US charts in 1991. Ralph Mercado signed him to his label RMM on that date and threw singing salsa, getting a great success lasted years since its first single with the song "Until I met" John Gabriel was No. 1 in sales. Later he also triumphed in Spain by Jorge E. Gomez with the company Bat Records, being the first Latin salsa artists to reach gold records in that country.
