Es sind die selben Schicksale, die Künstler unter sich teilen: auch sie singt seit der 5. Klasse in verschiedenen Chören und Bands. Bereits in ihrer Kindheit stand ein musikalischer Beruf fest. 2010 spielte sie in verschiedenen Musicals mit. Ihre Leidenschaft zu Balladen und Pop ist auch mit ihrer jetztigen Musical Ausbildung nicht untergegangen. Sie ging bereits verschiedene Wege, um ihren Traum Realität werden zu lassen. Vielleicht war jedoch der Zeitpunkt einfach noch nicht gekommen.
Mit ihrem Demo Tape und dem Song "almost Lover" ließ sie die Produktionsteams von Lacave-records in die Knie gehen. Es war ein kurzer Prozess: Marina flog am 16.12.2014 mit dem münchener Produktionsteam nach Duisburg und arbeitete dort eine Woche gemeinsam mit den Produzenten im Tonstudio.
