Launched into closed beta on September 3, 2010,it quickly got the attention of many MMO media sites to giveaway closed beta keys. Mission Against Terror entered into open beta, followed by its commercial launch
Mission Against Terror 2 offers what none other MMOFPS has to offer and on top of that, its casual! Customize your avatar and battle with it in style. There are hundreds of different costumes to choose from, along with different accessories to enhance your looks. The only limit is your imagination!

Plus, in staying true to its casual genre, the MAT game patch is updated from time to time and several major game modes are already available. Modes ranging from the conventional bomb match against other players, racing battles (Yes, there will be cars involved) to battling against mutated mummies! Getting married is also possible in MAT2, and there are pets that can be reared.

Mission Against Terror is similar to commercial games such as Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, and Ghost Recon 2. The game offers quite a few different modes of gameplay including deathmatch and team deathmatch, along with unique game modes against computer-controlled bots such as AI Mode, Dragon Emperor Mode, Hybrids,Inferno, Bounty Mode and,Inferno II,Hide & Seek,Mummy mode and more. Mission Against Terror includes a variety of real-world weaponry, like the FAMAS, M4A1, AK47, Heckler & Koch HK416 the Heckler & Koch MP5.

WASD keys control movement and the mouse is used to look around, aim, and control primary and secondary fire.

The Evolution of Mission Against Terror

Being one of the most popular MMOFPS game in SEA, MAT is evolved with an edgier and fresher look as players will be expecting an entire new in-game layout and unique game play modes in the upcoming MAT 2.

Other than the Marriage System and Pet System, MAT 2 also incorporates two new modes which are the Mummy 2 Mode (Players are tasked to protect the human race from a Mummy Invasion, however watch out for those Mutated Mummies!) and also the Racing Car Mode (Stand a chance to ride in your dream car while you shoot down enemies). Players can also expect more bonuses and giveaways as you’ll be showered with more weapons and outfit choices that you can either purchase or cast yourself.
