Even if you are not rooted, and just do a lot of downloading from your phone, this app will still prove to be invaluable. Because regardless of purpose, you want to make sure sensitive downloads are not corrupted; especially on todays crowded information superhighways where bits can go astray like socks in the laundry. So protect yourself, and your device, with MD5 Manager today!

This app is easy to use, just copy the MD5 value you got from XDA etc... when downloading your file into the textfield in the app, then browse to your file and click on it. Your results will be shown immediately. It's that simple. And just to make things a little easier for you; you can also set a custom default directory to start searching in. From app, go to Menu > Settings and Click 'Set Default Path', then browse to the directory you want to use, longpress on it and click 'Set' to make it your default directory, or your can longclick the 'Home' directory to reset default path to Root. That;s pretty much it.
