The purpose of the kaddish - the explanation for Kaddish's statement close to the death of a person, is explained in several of the main reasons

B. Increasing the sanctification of the name of the Creator against the annihilation of death.
third. The Kaddish prayer helps to forget the pain and separation from the deceased - in particular that human understanding has no explanation for everything.
