Minify photos, free up space

4,6,8 Megapixels, 12 Megapixels, more ... Great, but what about free space on your phone? Photos occupy lots of space - and what you really need is more free space, right? You have seen enough "insufficient space on device" warings. Let Minify minimize your photos - free up space.

While its awesome to capture a highly detailed photo a side effect of "megapixel arms race" is that you cannot store too many photos on your device this days. Its hard to decide which ones to delete - as they are all worth keeping. There is cloud storage you could use to help with "insufficient space on device" errors but not always you can show them "from the cloud". With Minify you can keep all photos with you and have lots of free space at the same time.

Minify does one thing - it resizes your photos to smaller resolution. Still more than enough to show on your screen, but not using much of your precious free space. And you can enjoy free space while keeping the photos with you.

There are two ways of using it. Either replace the photos in place (unsafe) or first create a resized copy and then manually delete photos. If you are not in a "no space left" situation I strongly recommend going the safe path. There are many users who did the "in place" resize and had no issues but you never know. And in general - always make sure you have backed up the photos that are important to you. Or all of them if unsure which ones are worth it.

The app is ads free and will allow you to minimize up to 100 photos. Then you can either uninstall it and install again (which will clear the counter) or buy a one time in-app purchase and enjoy a premium version without limits.

1M and 2M are respectively 1 and 2 Megapixel and Tiny will scale the image down to 1024 pixels size. All are good enough for presentation even on large tablets. Enjoy! The smalle the photo resolution the smaller its size.
