Thank you for your interest in our esteemed organization as well as the financial inclusion initiative in Nigeria.
Agency banking was born out of the financial inclusion initiative designed to make banking services available to the un-banked and under-served persons in developing countries.
The company has already started rolling out agents across all geo-political zones under the brand name MoniDey. Our agents are one stop shop for financial transactions regardless of the customer’s primary bank or mobile money provider.

As a MoniDey agent, you are expected to perform fee-earning agent banking services as commissions on our behalf to the general public such as:
• Cash-In (deposit) into any bank account in Nigeria
• Cash-Out (withdrawal) from any bank account in Nigeria
• Funds Transfer to any bank account or mobile wallet
• New Bank Account Opening
• Balance Inquiry
• Value Added Services like:
 Bills payment such as PHCN, LCC, DSTV, GOTV, STARTIMES etc.
 Airtime & Data Vending
As well as other services that may be added from time to time.
In addition to rolling out an agent network, we are providing payment solutions to different segments of the market including businesses, governments and development sector players (donors).
Below are the minimum requirements as well as the documents to be presented for capture by our Trade Representatives (TRs) along with a signed Service Level a\Agreement (SLA), namely:
• Place of Primary Business
• Name of Business/Company
• CAC Registration (if registered-optional)
• Evidence of business office utility bill for address verification (e.g. any of tenancy agreement, electricity bill, LAWMA bill or introduction letter from a community leader or a registered association leader, and on the letter headed paper)
• Bank Account Name and Bank Account Number (for the purpose of payment, commission remittance) and/or BVN
• 1 Passport Photograph
• 2 Guarantors Signatories
• Agent signed MoniDey Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Agent signed Point of Sale (POS) Service Level Agreement
• Means of Identification (e.g. Driver License, Voters Card, International Passport or National ID Card)
Once you fulfil the minimum requirements in becoming one of our MoniDey agent as outlined above, you will be provided with either one or both of our state-of-the-art MoniDey agency banking tools. For now, these are the MoniDey app (to be downloaded from the Google Play Store) and the MoniDey POS. Both tools are used specifically for the MoniDey agency banking and merchant services.
