Money Manager and Budget

This simple app can be used to quickly track your income and expenses. The features implemented are

1) Multiple account support with debit and credit type.
2) Categories and subcategories to group transactions.
3) Easily record income and expenses.
4) Quickly setup budget and track against the budget.
5) Informative dashboard to quickly track
a) Current monthly expenses,
b) Expenses for the last 12 months
c) Cashflows by month and year,
d) Budget tracking
e) Total net-worth for past 12 months.

6) Simple reports to track income spending by
categories, subcategories, budget, and account.
7) Select different default Currency.
8) Import / Export datafile to SD Card.
9) Export data via.CSV to email, SMS, etc.
10) Import / Export using Google Docs Spreadsheet.

Upcoming Features.

The following features are planned to be implemented. The schedule, as well as the feasibility of these features, are dependent on the revenue generated by the current release as well as user feedback/requests.
1) Split Expenses into multiple categories.

3) Multiple currency support
4) Payee support with location via Google maps
5) Bill management
6) iOS app and Web interface.

8) Multiple profile support e.g personal vs business expenses.

Accounts:
The first step is to create some accounts. You can decide how to create the accounts depending on how accurately you want to track your finances. For. e.g you can create just 3 accounts, credit, debit and cash to represent all your credit cards, debit cards and cash.
The account short name should be all caps and less than 10 characters. Set your initial balance. You can adjust the balance anytime to reflect your current account status.
In the account listing screen, you can long press to bring up the toolbar at the top where you can close the account, edit multiple accounts.

Category :

In this screen, you can create categories and sub-categories. The tool allows two levels for now. The Withdrawal and Deposit are mandatory and should not be changed. For a category leave the parent category blank. For a subcategory set its parent to the parent category.

Transaction :

In this screen, you can record your daily income and expense items. Use the top level Account drop-down list to select an Account. Click on the Date field to change the amount of data that is displayed.
Recurring Transactions are not yet supported. However, you can long press on any existing transactions and then click on the "copy" icon at the top. This will bring a dialog that will let you add a month to the date before copying.

Budget :

Using this section to set up a budget. You can create multiple budgets. You can create budgets for a time period such as monthly, bi-weekly, quarterly, yearly, etc. The budget can be created on SubCategories or on categories.

The import/export to Google spreadsheet allows you to quickly populate the tool with your existing records from a Google Spreadsheet.
