Österreichische Bundeshymne
Die „Bundeshymne der Republik Österreich“, kurz: Österreichische Bundeshymne, besteht als Nationalhymne aus der Melodie des sogenannten „Bundesliedes“ und aus dem Gedicht Land der Berge (oft auch als Land der Berge, Land am Strome bezeichnet).
Das „Bundeslied“ wurde am 22. Oktober 1946 durch Beschluss des Ministerrats zur Hymnenmelodie.
Der von Paula Preradović verfasste Text wurde - nach mit der Autorin abgestimmten Änderungen - durch einen weiteren Beschluss der Regierung am 25.
Februar 1947 zum Hymnentext. Im Zuge einer ab Juli 2011 laufenden parteiübergreifenden Gesetzesinitiative wurde am 7.
Dezember 2011 in namentlicher Abstimmung im Nationalrat ein am 27.
Dezember 2011 kundgemachtes Bundesgesetz über die Bundeshymne der Republik Österreich beschlossen, das mit 1. Jänner 2012 in Kraft trat (BGBl. I Nr. 127/2011). Damit wurde die „geschlechtergerechte
Änderung der Österreichischen Bundeshymne“ gesetzlich festgelegt.

Austrian national anthem
The "national anthem of the Republic of Austria", in short: Austrian national anthem, composed as the national anthem out of tune of the "Federal song" and from the poem land of mountains (often referred to as Land der Berge, Land am Strome).
The "Federal song" was 22 October 1946 decision of the Ministers for hymn tune.
The authored by Paula Preradović text was - according to agreed with the author changes - through a further decision of the Government on the 25th
February 1947 for anthem text. As part of an ongoing from July 2011 bipartisan legislative initiative was on. 7
December 2011 roll call vote in the National Assembly on a 27th
December 2011 made known to the Federal Law on the National Anthem of the Republic of Austria decided, which entered into force on 1 January 2012 (BGBl. I Nr. 127/2011). This was the
"gender-equitable change in the Austrian national anthem" established by law.
