Find out the registered owner of Internet domain names. Enter a domain name and NIC Whois automatically contacts the correct registry and returns the information the registry supplies about the owner. Most registries supply the registered owner, contact names, contact emails, contact telephone numbers and other data. Find out if official sounding sites are owned by who you think they are before you share your data or send money
No display advertisements that use up your data plan.
Also useful in identifying the sources of spam or fraudulent communications. If you enter an IP number, this app will tell you which company is supplying their Internet connectivity.
If a domain name is not registered, this app will allow you to contact the nic.com mobile store to grab it for yourself. Absence of a whois listing does not guarantee a domain name is available. If you follow links, close app (using app manager) to get back to the home page.
