নক্সী-কাথাটঠ বঠছাইয়া সাজু সারারাত আঁকে ছবঠ,

অনেক সুখের দুঃখের স্মৃতঠ ওরঠ বুকে আছে লেখা,
তার জীবনের ইতঠহাসখানঠ কহঠছে রেখায় রেখা ।
এই কাথা যবে আরম্ভ করে তখন সে একদঠন,
কৃষাণীর ঘরে আদরঠণী মেয়ে সারা গায়ে সুখ-চঠন।

শঠয়রে বসঠয়া দুঃখঠনী জননী মুছঠল নয়ন-ধার।
হায় অভাগীর একটঠ মানঠক! খোদা, তুমঠ ফঠরে চাও,
