- Password unlock: it basically is the same as PIN, but it works with letters instead of numbers.
★ Fingerprint security
Add your fingerprints and toggle on or off the fingerprint unlock option. We recommend registering at least the forefinger on both hands, so you can unlock with either hand.
Note: this only works with fingerprint supported devices.
★ Iris security
Use your eyes to unlock, head into the lock screen settings as above but select iris scanner. To use iris unlock you need to swipe up from the lock screen and iris scanner will beam your eyeball. ?
★ Face recognition
Note 8 Lock screen will learn your face via the phone’s camera and let you unlock by looking at your phone.
★ Smart lock/ Bluetooth unlock
A standard Android feature and you have the option to nominate trusted devices, so your phone will unlock the lock screen when connected to something else. ?
