Nouman Ali Khan - Lectures

Nouman Ali Khan was born in 1978 in East Berlin, East Germany (now Germany) to a Pakistani diplomat who was stationed in the country at that time. He spent a short amount of time in Pakistan where his parents came from and Saudi Arabia for 6 years until his family got stationed in the United States. At the age of 14, Nouman Ali Khan 's family went back to Pakistan but Nouman Ali Khan remained in the US to complete his higher studies and remained there ever since. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas.[8]

Education

Nouman Ali Khan early education in Arabic started in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and continued in Islamabad, Pakistan and Lahore, Pakistan. His serious Arabic training began in 1999 in the United States. He has been teaching Modern Standard and Classical Arabic at various venues for several years with over 10,000 students nationwide.

Policy on fundraising events

Khan does not participate in any fundraiser event in any capacity. He does not accept requests for video, audio or written endorsements of Islamic projects, institutions & programs. Regarding the topic, Nouman Ali Khan has said, "Even though I would love to engage, I simply don't have time to look deeply into all the projects, their history & their contributions. I don't feel comfortable endorsing anything without thoroughly knowing each and every aspect of it. Regardless, I appreciate all the different inspiring efforts taking place throughout the world and pray for their success."

Nouman Ali Khan is the founder and CEO of Bayyinah and serves as a lead instructor for several programs including Dream, traveling seminars and Bayyinah TV. His serious Arabic training began in the U.S. in 1999 under Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and former principal of Quran College in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
Nouman served as a professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College until 2006 when he decided to take Bayyinah on as a full-time project. Since then he has taught more than 10,000 students through traveling seminars and programs. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas and is focusing on teaching his students, developing Arabic curricula and filming material for Bayyinah TV.
