If someone has the birth information July 17, 1959, then his Life path number would be
7 + 1 + 7 +1+ 9 + 5 +9 = 39. So this birth date, would look like this 3 + 9 = 12, 1+ 2 = 3
Since 39 and 12 are not single digit number, you add the first and second digits together to make a single digit number. Keep adding the sums of the numbers till you get one of the one digit numerology numbers.
