OA.Genius

OA.Genius is a photo app for use with the Olympus Air open platform camera. With a single release of the shutter, subjects are automatically detected and OA.Genius provides you with six different creative expressions of your single shot that suit your subject.

Features

1. Six different expressions of your single photo

With the help of the Olympus Air’s abilities to detect the subject, determine optimal camera settings, and process the image as needed, OA.Genius provides you with six different expressions of a single photo you shoot. A simple snapshot you take may immediately change into a masterpiece.

2. Save your favorite formulas
When you find a photo you like among the six OA.Genius images, you can save the setting formula used to shoot that photo to your favorites. You can then pull up that formula from your favorites to shoot using the settings in that formula.
*Zoom position and framing information will not be included as part of the formula saved.

Basic Functions

1. iAuto
This is an intelligent shooting mode where the camera automatically detects the subject and applies the optimal camera settings. No detailed camera knowledge is needed. Just touch the shutter button and leave everything else up to the camera.

2. Zoom
When an electronic zoom lens is attached, zooming can be operated from your smartphone. Because you can operate the camera remotely, this function is useful in composing shots for group photos.

3. Sharing
With a sharing button within the app, you can easily share favorite photos with friends and family via social networking services or e-mail.

4. Self-timer
When using the self-timer, a countdown to shutter release appears on the smartphone so you know exactly when the photo will be taken.

5. Adding geotags
By transferring geotags acquired by your smartphone to the Olympus Air, you can add the geotags to photos saved on the camera's SD card.
