Offline and Online movie tv database has two main functions. Search for movies and tv shows online and save their meta data to selected lists. The meta data of movies and tv shows is saved in a local database in the phone memory. It is possible to back up the database and save it to any cloud service. The database is accessible to user any time even if no internet is available. At the time of install the database is empty and there is no data loaded into it at install time. It is the wish of the user to add as many titles to the lists according to the needs.

The app offers manual search of movies and tv shows. Just type the name of movie or a tv show and if there are possible matches all meta data will be displayed with pictures. It also offers to search for currently playing, popular, upcoming, top rated and trending movies and tv shows.

Offline and Online movie tv database has 5 main categories namely “Hollywood”, “Indian”, “Others”, “TV/Dramas” and “Documentaries”. Each category has then 7 same lists namely “Watched”, “Watch”, “Ignore”, “Purchased”, “Saved”, “Buy” and “Favourites”. Titles can be added to any of these lists by first selecting the category and then the list.

The app can be operated hassle free without creating any sort of cloud id. Titles can be added to any list manually and directly from online search results. Internet is required to search for movies and tv shows online and watch their trailers in YouTube.

Once the lists are populated with titles; more functionalities become available to the user which are hidden when the lists are empty. It is possible to search for any title online and search for videos in YouTube directly. All this is performed within the app without jumping into any other app which makes it so convenient and compelling for the user.
