Our idea solves a problem that is evident in the daily lives of people from all sections - students, employees, senior citizens, physically disabled and so on. Almost everyone has faced a situation where he /she had to stand in a line for a long time just to grab a bite or a coffee at any food outlets. It could be in a food court, popular food outlets or a simple food truck outside your work / study place. It is time consuming and people sometimes have to face harsh climatic conditions while placing their orders. Senior citizens cannot afford to stand for so long or face such climate. Students and employees cannot afford to spend 50% of their break time just to place an order. Sometimes food courts get really crowded because of the people waiting in a line to place an order which is really inconvenient for everybody. Often people compromise their food choices or even starve just because they cannot afford to spend so much time waiting in a line to get their order. People cannot stay together while they place their food order if they have different food choices.

Our system allows people to place their food orders at any given outlets using their smart phones without actually waiting at the food outlet. Groups of friends or couples can stay together while they place their food orders at different outlets. People can place their orders at their convenience and from any place (office / classroom/ home/ car etc) in advance and thus avoid the hassle of waiting in line. They get notified by Google Push Notification service as soon as their order is ready and can simply go to grab their meal /coffee. Senior citizens and people with physical disabilities can rest while their order is being prepared.

This idea benefits all the food outlets by increasing their sales and staying competitive. Additional benefits of our system are that the system does not require any hardware and almost no change in the way food orders are processed at outlets.
