Personal Password Vault

Password requirements across the internet are becoming more and more stringent. And with the number of sites that are having usernames and passwords hacked, repeating usernames and passwords is dangerous. However, by having dozens of different passwords, it becomes near impossible to remember which passwords are for which site. And then resetting the password only makes it worse, as you can't use one of your previous passwords. So how does someone manage without having to write down all of their passwords somewhere, again leaving you vulnerable.

This is exactly the problem that Personal Password Vault (PPV) was built to help fix. PPV lets you use a single password to secure all of your username and passwords for all of your accounts across the internet. When PPV is first started, you create a master password for the vault, and this is the only password you need to remember. After that, you can add each new entry into the vault. The entries are stored on your phone, and they are encrypted in the database, so that even if someone steals your phone and hacks into the database, they still can't see the information they would need to hack your account.

Within the app, for both the master password and each account's password, the app will let you know how strong the password is. By only using passwords that are Strong or better, the password is near impossible to hack through brute force processing.

The table of entries shows all of your accounts in a nice tabular format. Even within this table, the passwords are not shown in plain text, in case someone is looking over your shoulder. To see the password for an entry, you need to edit the entry, and only then will the password show up in plain text. In the table, both the Username column and the URL column are sortable to let you find a particular entry easier if you have a number of entries in your vault.
