Presence APPLICATION description
Presence transforms your mobile phone into a BLE (Bluetooth Low-Energy) beacon.
At the same time, it allows you to create "proxzvents" (short for proximity events).
A proxzvent can be any activity that your conduct with people in proximity.
Examples:
- Giving a talk to an audience
- A lecture
- A flash sale/promotion at a physical retail store
Event organizers can create proxzvents to allow attendees in proximity to join/participate.
Other Presence users can sense and detect the organizer's proxzvent when they are in proximity of the organizer's mobile phone. Users can view details about the proxzvent and choose to join in.
Joining a proxzvent will allow the user's "attendance" to be captured.
