Abah Mudlor, begitu para santri memanggil Prof. Dr. KH. Achmad Mudlor, S.H., seorang kiai kharismatik, intelektual, organisatoris nan alim di bidang ilmu balaghoh ini. Seorang guru yang dikenal tegas dalam mendidikan terlebih dalam pendidikan spiritual dan keintelektualan. Kiai Achmad Mudlor dilahirkan pada 09 Agustus 1937 dari pasangan H. Muchdlor dan Hj. Nasiyah yang berasal dari Desa Kauman, Babat, Lamongan. Kiai Achmad Mudlor adalah anak keenam dari sepuluh bersaudara. Abhad Mudlor dilahirkan dari keluarga pejuang dalam bidang pendidikan. Berbagai jasa keluarga besarnya adalah mendirikan Madrasah At-Tahdzibiyah dan Madrasah Bintang Sembilan, selain juga mendirikan koperasi. Tak heran jika darah pejuang pun turun pada sosok Abah Mudlor.

A teacher known firm in mendidikan especially in spiritual education and intellectuality. Achmad Mudlor was born on August 9, 1937 from H. pair Muchdlor and Hj. Nasiyah from the village Kauman, Babat, Lamongan. Achmad Mudlor was the sixth of ten children. Abhad Mudlor born from a family of fighters in the field of education. Various services extended family is founded Madrasah Madrasah At-Tahdzibiyah and Nine Star, as well as establish a cooperative. No wonder if the blood of fighters was down on the figure of Abah Mudlor.
