Professional Area Measurement APPLICATION description
Pro Area Calculator is a tool to calculate area and distances from google map. Pan and Zoom to move map to desired location, then repeatedly press "Add Point" and touch a location on map to drop a marker. The distances between two adjacent markers are calculated and displayed as well as the the area enclosed by the markers.
Pressing "Goto Location" button in the menu will switch to a new page, where the map can be centered to a location specified with a name such as a street, city, etc, or specified with a latitude/longitude, or centered to current GPS location.
The "Screen Shot" menu option allows you to capture a shot of current screen.
The "Email" menu button allows to send the measurement results, and the screen shot if available, to your chosen recipient.
The "Settings" menu button allows to choose your favourite metric system and satellite overlay mode.
There is a free version of this same software to try out. The free version one, however, does not have the ability to do screen shot and email screen shot.
