Sunnah also given the interpretation and explanation of the contents of the Qur'an and to determine what is lawful and what is unlawful as long as there are no texts in the Qur'an.
Because of its function sunnah of the Prophet. so important as a source of Islamic law, then by the scholars dijadikanlah it as a subject and material depth discussion. For that purpose it formed a group of scholars who specializes in the science of hadith, collect it than the companions of the Prophet who has received it directly and from the tabi'ien who received the hadiths it first hand.
Unfortunate that the efforts of the scholars gather sunnah of the Prophet. is the individual businesses, so no-one than they though had to squeeze the sweat and sacrifice time, effort and energy to reach the peak of the expected ,. Even though there may diungkiri that what they've collected and passed on to us in the form of a set of hadith and sunnah of the Prophet. is really a great treasury that is difficult to obtain peerless.
