I wanted to tell you about how I came across the Paleo Diet Plan or The Paleo Lifestyle, as I like to say and
share some of my learning with you as well as some excellent resources I've come across since starting this life-changing journey.
Firstly, I have a confession to make. I didn't go looking for the a diet solution to lose weight.
I simply wanted to find a healthier way of living. A healthier way of eating.
I first tried the raw food diet and, let me tell you, that didn't last long. I need my meat! One too many mornings standing in front of my blender staring at a pile of kale and spinach and I was going nowhere fast.
One thing I did notice however was that my body was reacting to the change in diet and excercise. This really got me thinking about the old adage, "you are what you eat" and I decided to look into other potentially life-changing diets.
Ones that hopefully involved a steak!
I ended up stumbling across the Paleo Diet Food List when I was at my local bookstore. The whole concept of "eating like a caveman" caught my interest so I decided to do a bit of research.
What I found got me really excited and I ended up making the decision to give the Paleo Diet a try.
