A emissora foi idealizada por dois profissionais que sempre tiveram no rádio a paixão maior das profissões. PR: Luiz Carlos Cabral PB: Paulo Cabral , ambos com vocação para o rádio, presente proporcionado por Deus. Lutaram para implantar uma emissora de rádio em Freqüência Modulada e o sonho foi conquistado pelo empenho, esforço e dedicação que sempre tiveram em seus corações e jamais desistiram em se tornar realidade, venceram obstáculos e todas as dificuldades. O conceito maior interno é que de os integrantes da 99,1 FM fazem parte de uma família, portanto a união, amizade, lealdade e companheirismo estão diariamente em cada um dos integrantes e ouvintes.
Ao longo de sua existência a Rádio direta ou indiretamente acompanha atentamente o dia-a-dia do município e da região, como veículo de comunicação e formador de opinião em todos os segmentos da sociedade: sócio-econômico, político, religioso, esportivo, movimentos culturais e outros, com uma linguagem voltada ao pleno entendimento e aos interesses dos ouvintes e comunidade em geral.
Entendemos que a rádio é um instrumento importante para estimular o trabalho comunitário das pessoas e das entidades, aprimorar a democracia dos meios de comunicação, divulgar a história, valorizar a cultura e ser instrumento de prestação de serviço voltado para o bem da comunidade. O slogam: “A sua melhor companhia” traduz o compromisso da rádio em levar para os ouvintes uma mensagem que possa ajudá-los a viver melhor e serem mais felizes. Na logomarca foi adotado como símbolo a formiga, por ser ela um modelo de organização e ação coletiva.
Com a forte convicção de que o ser humano reflete aquilo que acredita e conhece, prestamos através da comunicação o papel de propulsor de idéias, valores e acima de tudo a conscientização de que somente através da educação individual e ação conjunta, o indivíduo poderá obter as mudanças positivas, pessoais e coletivas.
A Rádio 99,1 leva alegria, informação, cultura, utilidade pública, e apoio a todos os Brasileiros, com muito carinho e respeito.
