www.radiogalucha.com nace por la necesidad de difundir el trabajo de nuestros músicos chilenos, al ver la poca difusión por parte de los medios convencionales, para mostrar su arte, y ser el nexo entre ellos y el auditor.
El movimiento denominado "Nueva Cumbia Chilena", ha ido ganando espacios a lo largo de todo el país, y ya se cuentan más de 100 bandas, y son varios los locales que han abierto sus puertas para tocatas y presentaciones en vivo, donde ya cuentan con un gran público cautivo.
Es así, como también se han cerrados lugares iconos para las bandas, como lo fue el Galpón Víctor Jara, lugar que no solo acogía bandas de cumbia, sino que también le daba un espacio a nuestro folcklore.
Es por eso que el lema de nuestra radio es "El Canto Popular Bailable de Chile", porque también le damos un espacio a nuestro Folcklore, Cumbia, Pachanga, Ska y todos los ritmos que alegran la vida en este país, y entregarle a nuestros compatriotas en el extranjero la posibilidad de que por este medio puedan conocer lo que en materia de música está pasando en nuestro país.

The movement called "New Cumbia Chilena" has been gaining spaces throughout the country and more than 100 bands are counted, and there are several places that have opened their doors to gigs and live performances, where they already have with a large captive audience.
