Now he has started a 2n project that is Radio Oslo. Radio Oslo is a voice of Community. The Community who migrated from their home land. Radio Oslo is non profit radio station or channel that caters for the information, entertainment needs of people living in particular in Norway and Europe as well.
Radio Oslo will broadcast and cover maximum all necessary events, celebrations activities and news of the Community and Society. Radio Oslo is for the people to meet and collaborate. It is extraordinarily fun and often life - changing. It typically leads to in individual creativity and self-empowerment. Our listener’s participants find it extraordinarily satisfying, not just to make radio in this unique fashion but to also help transform community life.
What is Community Radio?
Community’s Radio is a world-wide phenomenon. Its concepts roots date back to the late 1940s when it was introduced as a way to offer media access to union members and their families during a labour strike in Bolivia. In 1949, Pacifica Foundation established the first Community Radio Sation in the United States. Since then, this vibrant media movement continues to spread throughout the word-from Western countries to remote immigrant community. The urge to do Radio Oslo fulfils the basic desire of communication and self-expression. Typically three principal aims are achieved:
⦁ Cultural, artistic and the promotion of integration in the Norwegian society.
⦁ Inviduals and immigrants are enriched.
⦁ Radio Oslo is known for greatly improving immigrant’s quality of life.
