The origins of the ranchera date back to the 19th century, but it was developed in the nationalist theater of the post-revolutionary period of 1910 and became the icon of the popular expression of Mexico, a symbol of the country, which was spread with great success by several Latin American countries especially thanks to the Mexican cinema of the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, causing deep roots between the popular and media sectors.
