Rathinam plays a larger role by pioneering education, Information Technology, and other infrastructure development (IT Parks I SEZ, Housing and Entertainment zone) in south Coimbatore. The Single sprawling 70 acres campus, Rathinam Techzone, developed by the group is located on NH-209 within Coimbatore city limits. As a latest addition into Rathinam Techzone Campus, Rathinam group has started an engineering college which would start functioning from the academic year 2011 -2012. The Campus is designed in such a way that it will accommodate entertainment zone, hospital, and other facilities in up-coming years.The Rathinam Institute ofTechnology (Rathinam Technical Campus) is an idea and a new initiative in education that takes the concept of education to a higher stratum. What it offers impacts all aspects of life, of which learning is just one aspect. It's an experience that no other educational institution in the category can offer.
