RCC Beam APPLICATION description
The app designs reinforced concrete beam sections as per Indian Standard code of practice IS456:2000. The material properties required to be entered by the program are yield strength of steel and characteristic compressive strength of concrete. Supplying the bending moment, torsion will enable the app to design the main (longitudinal steel). Once the longitudinal steel is decided, the provided steel is used for design of shear reinforcements.
