Robometrix Remote Control

This application is used for driving RoboMetrix telepresence robots. The device running this application can be connected via an audio cable to a microphone input on a desktop or laptop computer when running Skype, FaceTime or Google Hangouts. When using an iPad or iPad Mini, it can be connected to the headphone jack using a guitar input cable like iRig. It can also be used without a cable with any tablet or computer by placing it near the tablet's microphone.

The arrow buttons control the robot's direction and the red button in their center stops the robot.
The blue buttons control the camera position, incrementing up, down or flipping the camera 180 degrees.
The green button turns on the robot's speaker and the red button below it turns it off.
The red button at top left turns on the Android device's (the device running this app) microphone so that when the robot's speaker is on, the person controlling the robot can have a conversation. Pressing the red button again turns off the microphone.
The grey button with the circular arrow causes the robot to turn farther each time a turn button is pressed. Pressing it again restores shorter turning.
The grey "X" button turns off the forward and backward commands and is useful when the robot is being used on a table, so it isn't driven off of the table by accident. Pressing it again restores forward and backward commands.
