RöKo Leipzig 2017

Nachdem die meisten von Ihnen bereits 2016 mit der Teilnahme am neuen RöKo-Kongressort in Leipzig „neue Wege“ beschritten haben und erfahren durften, wie gut Leipzig und insbesondere das Congress Center Leipzig zu uns passt, wollen wir 2017 den Blick weiter öffnen.

„Alles im Blick“ ist das Motto des nächsten Kongresses. Dahinter verbirgt sich keine Selbstzufriedenheit, sondern vielmehr die nüchterne Erkenntnis, dass Radiologen in interdisziplinären Behandlungsprozessen aufgrund ihrer Qualifikation sowie der rasanten Entwicklungen in der medizinischen Bildgebung eine besondere Rolle und Verantwortung haben. „Alles im Blick“ steht auch für das Interesse und die Möglichkeiten, über den berühmten „Tellerrand“ hinaus zu schauen und sich neue Trends und Entwicklungen zu eigen zu machen.

Der RöKo 2017 rückt daher Themen in den Mittelpunkt, die Komplexität mit einer hohen Veränderungsdynamik und innovativem Potenzial verbinden: Onkologische Bildgebung, Interventionelle Onkologie, Neue Techniken und Big Data sind jedoch nicht nur die Schwerpunktthemen des Kongresses, sondern auch Ausdruck eines Selbstverständnisses der Radiologie, im Interesse des Patienten immer wieder die Grenzen des Möglichen zu hinterfragen und neu abzustecken. After most of you have followed already in 2016 with the participation in the new Roeko-congress venue in Leipzig "new ways" and were allowed to learn how well Leipzig and in particular the Congress Center Leipzig suits us, we will in 2017 continue to open our eyes.
 
"Everything under control" is the motto of the next Congress. Underlying this is no complacency, but rather the sober realization that radiologists have a special role and responsibility in interdisciplinary treatment processes by using their skills and the rapid developments in medical imaging. "Everything under control" is to look and make new trends and developments as its own for the interest and the possibilities of the famous "nose" out.
 
hence the Roeko 2017 spotlight on subjects at the heart of that complexity with a high dynamic of change and innovative potential connect: but Oncological Imaging, Interventional Oncology, New Techniques and Big Data are not only the main topics of the Congress, but also an expression of self-understanding of radiology, in interests of the patient always to question the limits of the possible and re-stake.
