Safety Zone

Safety Zone is an application that helps prevent distracted driving. Safety Zone runs in the background, turning the ringer off for messaging and phone calls. It sends phone calls to voice mail, and still accepts text messages, so your calls and messages will be there when the driving has stopped. Safety Zone also sets the display time out to 15 seconds so that while driving there are limited visual distractions. Screen brightness is also turned down on some models of phones. Safety Zone goes into effect once you have reached approximately 7-8 miles per hour, and returns the ringer, display timeout and brightness back to normal levels at approximately 2 miles per hour. Safety Zone will restart on it's own if the phone is turned off, then back on, or if it is rebooted. Safety Zone is small and inconspicuous. Safety Zone is just another tool that can help save your life, or the life of someone you love.
