Identification of IBAN/BIC

The application safeX™ FSC - lp identifies IBAN (International Bank Account Number) and BIC (Bank Identifier Number) for Germany, by entering any “Bankleitzahl” (German Bank Code Number) and “Kontonummer” (Account Number). In addition the name of the according “Kreditinstitut” (Credit Institution) will be displayed. If there is no clear identification of BIC 11 the according BIC 8 will be displayed. There is although a register of all BIC 11 including the location available.

Verification of IBAN

Entered IBANs for the complete SEPA-Area can be verified concerning format and check digit. Detailed replies encourage the understanding of the correct IBAN-structure. Additional for all German IBANs the integrity of the contained “Bankleitzahl” will be verified and detailed information are shown.

There is no internet access required for the identification and verification.

Currently the application is only available in German.
