Sahakari Merchant App

Sahakari Consumer Card is a plastic payment card embedded with Quick Response (QR) Code issued by Co-operative societies to their members. This application helps the merchants to overcome the demonetization of high-value currency. This is a cashless concept which helps merchants for reducing their day-to-day cash transactions within a closed loop. The main benefit of this scheme is that merchant need not buy any additional machines. They can use their own Android Phones for identifying the QR Code.


The merchant can make a multiple number of transactions within a closed loop by using this application. If he wants to cancel any transaction, it is also possible. The merchant can get transaction report, date-wise collection summary just by a single click which will also help him in enhancing accounts maintenance.


When the card got detected, the merchant can add the total amount of items purchased by the customer. After this, the customer gets an OTP verification code to his mobile. If the customer agrees to pay, he can give the OTP to the merchant and thereby the amount of Customer’s Sahakari Shopping Card account transfers to Merchant’s Sahakari Shopping Card account.
