SanskritEABook-Keelak Stotram APPLICATION description
For the devotees of mother Durga, the most authentic scripture is Durga Saptashati. The 13 chapters of this ancient scripture contain the rites and rituals devoted exclusively to goddess Durga and are collectively known as the Durga Saptashati.
It would not be possible to recite the whole scripture, given the constraint of time in this day and age. Therefore, the sages have further concluded that if one was to recite the three major prayers of the Durga Saptashati - Durga Kavach, Argala Stotram and the Keelak Stotram, one would get the same benefit as if he/she were reciting the complete Durga Saptashati.
