What do I need to do to hire a scooter with Scoot?

? Create your account: In order to ride electric scooters or ebikes you need to set up a user account by providing your full name, date of birth, e-mail address, and a password. Once we have all your profile information, you will receive an SMS message to verify your account. Fast and secure!

? Activate geolocation: Do you want to find your nearest scooter or bike? Activate the GPS and get the most out of Scoot.

? Get certified: In order to certify that you are qualified to ride electric scooters, you must be aged over 18, have a driver’s license that allows you to ride 125 cc motorcycles, state the country of issue of your driver’s license, and send a photo of the license. You are also required to send us a selfie of yourself to prove that you are the license holder. In order to use an electric bike (coming soon to Barcelona), the only requirement is that you are aged over 18.
