Please make sure your smart-phone has a temperature sensor hardware, otherwise, this application can only show you temperatures from web services just like any other application do
The use of internet connection is optional, and the internet + GPS is only required for smart-devices not having an integrated temperature sensor.
This application offers an upgrade package which adds charts with historical data of your smart-phone's readings plus better widgets.

Permissions breakdown:
GPS optional for connecting the temperatures with a location, and necessary for getting temperature data on smart-devices which don't have a temperature sensor
INTERNET mandatory for uploading data, and getting stats in return
