Our approach to family photography

As a parent you don't need to worry about getting children to behave in a certain way; our approach is to go with the flow so that your children are comfortable working with us. Some children will naturally tune in to the camera and get engaged in the process. Others children may need some gentle coaxing with games and activities, especially if they're very young.

Most teenagers and adults hate their photograph being taken mainly because we don't know what we are meant to do in front of the camera and worry far too much about what we think others may see of ourselves. At SmugShots you can expect a friendly approach we listen to your thoughts and ideas and will guide you through the session to deliver photographs you will want to share with family and loved ones.

However, some of the best photographs occur when you least expect it, which is why we like to be open-minded and easy-going during a photo shoot. Whatever happens on the day, our aim is to produce the most natural-looking shots of your family at ease, being themselves. So, don't hesitate book now for our reduced seession fee only £50 (usually £100). Also, we are sure you will like your photographs so much will we take this fee off from any first purchases you make.
