Creada y producida por Vladimir Pérez, Somos tú y yo relata la historia de los estudiantes de una escuela de artes escénicas, donde se revelan los sueños, ambiciones, talentos y relaciones entre ellos. El programa sigue el estilo de éxitos como Grease y High School Musical donde un elenco de más de 30 jóvenes interpretan varias canciones y bailan al ritmo de diversas coreografías.

La serie ha gozado de popularidad desde su estreno en Venezuela y cuenta con varias páginas de Internet, un club de aficionados, y videos musicales disponibles en el sitio de videos comunitarios YouTube. Además, está planeada una gira internacional de conciertos el próximo mes y la segunda temporada comenzará a grabarse en febrero de 2008.

The program follows the style hits like Grease and High School Musical where a cast of over 30 young interpreted several songs and dance to various choreographies.

The series has been popular since its premiere in Venezuela and has several websites, an amateur club, and music videos available in the community video site YouTube. It is also planned an international concert tour next month and the second season will begin filming in February 2008.
