SONKE Club APPLICATION description
The National Stokvel Association of South Africa is a community of 110 000 groups.
In October 2016 it launched its mobile app SONKE Club. SONKE means together in Nguni languages.
The first benefit for our members is a free funeral policy of R8 000.
We pay for your policy from the money we get from our sponsors.
The SONKE Club app lets you to download the Sonke Sponsored Burial Benefit App which allows our sponsors to send advertisements directly to your smartphone after calls and SMSs.
They pay us with the money they save from advertising in newspapers and magazines.
Join SONKE Club for free now in 3 easy steps, all directly from your smartphone.
1. Download and install SONKE Club from the Google Play Store.
2. Register for the SONKE Club.
3. Nominate your group as the beneficiary and two contact people.
4. Download, install and open the Sponsored Burial Benefit App.
Every individual member who downloads the app gets the R8 000 benefit.
Make sure you nominate your social group as the beneficiary.
This way, the claim will be paid to your group, allowing it to make a meaningful contribution to your burial without using its own savings.
Use this as a benefit for your existing group, or use it to form a new group!
You can nominate or change the beneficiary at any time directly from your smartphone.
Register at any age from 18 to 65.
The cover begins after one month and remains as long as you use the SONKE Sponsored Burial Benefit service.
The benefit is immediate for accidental death.
Natural death is covered after 6 months.
Suicide is excluded.
