How Steer Safe Works:
Steer Safe uses Bluetooth technology, GPS and speed to control the locking and unlocking of a user’s keyboard. When a user is traveling over 5mph and is connected to a Bluetooth device, the Steer Safe keyboard will activate. The Steer Safe keyboard will block the keyboard’s normal usage, reducing the ability to text while driving. Once the user has been traveling under 5mph for over 30 seconds, the keyboard will unlock and the user can resume typing.
